Projects

West Bromwich Baptist Church Projects Ltd. runs two projects for the benefit of the local community. Both of them operate from the church building in Tantany Lane.

'The Base'

'The Base' runs a variety of activities for children aged 8-13 with funding from the Sandwell Children and Young People's Trust Partnership.

• After-school clubs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3.30pm to 5.30pm during termtime, which provide a safe supportive place to do homework and also engage in fun projects, games, sports, etc. 

• Holiday playschemes during school holidays and half-terms

• Occasional trips and other special events

'U Choose'

'U Choose' works to provide positive activities for young people with funding through the Sandwell Children and Young People's Trust Partnership. The project operates in partnership with other local agencies. You are very welcome to contact the project staff directly to see if they can help you. Drop-in sessions for young people aged between eleven and nineteen on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. There are plans to engage young people in exciting activities using media such as film.
